Freezing a frosted cake is easier than it sounds and makes storing or prepping ahead far less stressful. Freeze the cake uncovered for a few hours until the frosting is firm and the cake feels solid enough to move. Once frozen, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn. To defrost, unwrap completely and thaw in the fridge overnight so the frosting softens without damage. Light condensation may appear but will dry on its own. #frozencake #bakingtips #bakingtipsandtr
