There was an audible reaction in the courtroom today when the judge in the murder case against Charlie Kirk's alleged killer said he currently has 1,409 cases assigned to him. That IS a lot of cases. Judge Tony Graf in Utah's 4th Judicial District in Provo scheduled a Dec. 29 online hearing in which he'll announce his ruling on two issues he heard argument on today: the unsealing of transcripts for a closed hearing in October and a request from The Salt Lake Tribune and other news organizations

Getting to walk out with our son during his 5th grade basketball night was the highlight of our week, and felt like the perfect way to wind down his first season playing.
